Murray Equipment was formed by Ron Murray, who was a practicing dentist In Chichester,West Sussex.
Ron had the idea to create a seat for the surgeon which attached to the underside of the main patient's chair and swung around the chair on an extended arm.
This was the first time that a surgeon could be seated whilst carrying out his procedures, and the concept was so successful that it was put into production, resulting in the formation of Murray Equipment.
Since that time the company has continued to keep abreast of the latest designs and now produces an unbeatable range of operators chairs and stools at its site in Charlton near Goodwood in the heart of West Sussex.
The range of seating can be viewed at most of the dental supply company showrooms around the country. Many health authorities and dental teaching hospitals and the M.O.D. use Murray seating.
